Harbour View Restaurant in Parrsboro

This is a great little stop when you are in Parrsboro. Great staff, good food, and a beautiful location right on the beach. We have been here several times and enjoyed it every time. The portions are overly huge. We ordered the hot hamburger sandwich and hamburger and cabbage soup. The sandwich was enough to feed two people, and the soup was delicious. It was so filled with ingredients, it almost seemed like chili. Tomas based, and wonderful. Would love that have that recipe.

Not the same place it used to be. Waited over an hour for food and ended up sending some back because it wasn't good. During the wait no one told us how long it would be, or even warned us of the extended wait when we first got there. Waiter did not check in often during the wait, or once the food had arrive.The food we kept was not as good as it was before. Fried clams lacked batter and some pieces were sandy, and the fish was flavorless. Sadly, will not be going back.

Courtney "with a C" was the absolute BEST! She catered to our crazy walkin of 10 and absolutely nailed it. Ask for her.

Food and service are great! Excellent view of the bay from the back room, especially at sunset. We had several meals while on our stay in Parrsboro, all were exceptionally delicious. Highly recommend!

Very good food

Great food, good staff, a travellers must go to restaurant when in Parrsborro plus the view of the lighthouse adds to it's perfect location.

Great place in hot days

Had the 2 piece flounder fish and chips, absolutely amazing! Coolish day, so we sat in our car and enjoyed the view of Parrsboro harbor and watched the seagulls. I can eat but could not finish my serving . Very enjoyable experience! Highly recommended.

Good food, very nice and accommodating servers. Expect to wait at least 45 mins just for appetizers at peak time.Deep fried haddock was not greasy, and had only a light coating of batter. Great scallops and coconut shrimp as well.

Very good and affordable lobster. But very busy.

We had another great lunch today! Janice, our waitress was excellent as usual. The food and customer service is great.

The food is amazing

As the name suggests, a good view of the harbour. Good food, reasonably priced, scallops and lobster rolls were both good.

Great view of highest tide. Outstanding food, seafood, hamburgers, breakfast they do it all great.

Great place for fried seafood. Big portions and quick service. Prices are good too.

The food is good and seems to be fresh here. The price is a little higher than I expected but under new management I understand why. The taste was fair and satisfied hunger for now. I will be back for other.

Amazing fish

The turkey dinner was awful. The gravy had no flavor, the potatoes were cold and lumpy and there was no stuffing/dressing on my plate. My son and husband ordered fish and chip and we had to ask three times for tartar sauce. When we went to pay we were asked if we enjoyed our meals, when we explained that we were not thrilled with what we were severed the lady behind the counter was rude. Very very disappointed.

Great Service, great food and the view is glorious!

We were here on a Friday evening and the place was packed with local people. We soon found out why: the food is great, the portions are large, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. A lot of the food is fried, but they use a very light batter so you can still taste the fish that is inside. The fresh lobster is terrific; you can pick a live one from the tank so you know that it's fresh. And you can surely tell that from the taste. We would definitely eat here again.

This place wins hands down for food, service and atmosphere. After watching the tide fill the Bay seated on oversized Adirondack chairs, we settled into the cozy seaside 50”s style restaurant. We started with the chowder, which was filled with seafood and not at all starchy or filled with potato. The portions are large and the fish platter was succulent and tasty. The scallops were done to perfection and the calamari was tender and not at all chewy. We shared a lot, and sent a lot back because we were too full to finish. My son enjoyed their famous milkshake and even his side Caesar was devoured.All this, and I haven’t even shared the ambience of the live music and local couples dancing the night away on date night. I love Nova Scotia; and I love Harbour View Restaurant. My favourite seafood place EVER!

New owners of the Harbour View this past year. Quality and quantity you get in your meal is impressive! I have been there twice I the past week for various family celebration meals. Fish and chips (flounder) and the Haddock dinner were both awesome! Wait staff are amazing and the meals, even with a large group, are out quickly. High recommend the food that comes with a spectacular world class view of the Bay of Fundy, Parrsboro wharf and Lighthouse.

Do not let yourself being influence by the look of the building. The food is very good. Sadly they were out of clam chowder. Service could be better. A little expensive for what you get. Well located restaurant with a great view.

The food is fantastic. Fresh seafood. They have local wine and beer and the service is great.

The breakfast was delicious made to perfection and did wait but a few minutes for the food to come out the prices are average and the view is absolutely stunning with a panoramic view of the Bay of Fundy highest tides in the world the pies are delicious

Love this place go only once a year

Food was delicious! Had the clubhouse (sandwich). It's a bit out of the way but very worth the drive. Kylee was our waitress, all for her when you come in.

Very cute little restaurant. The fish and chips are awesome. Friendly service. I go there every year when I'm back in Nova Scotia.
